I am a graduate of Texas A&M University Kingsville. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a Minor in Psychology. I also recently graduated with a Masters in Special Education from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. After I graduated with my Bachelors, I worked for two years as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant. I worked with patients from ages 1 through 20 that had special needs such as Down Syndrome, CP (Cerebral Palsy), Autism and also with patients with speech, language, articulation and behavior problems. I am Bilingual,I speak Spanish and English. I was born in the United States but lived in Mexico for thirteen years. Two of my goals for this year are to get certified as an ESL instructor and as a Special Education teacher. I love helping others, and I know how difficult it may be to learn another language, that is why I want to help other people with their Spanish the way my teachers helped me with my English. In the future, I would love to travel and help children improve their English and their Spanish.
