I am a rising junior at Yale University, double majoring in Music and Women's, Gender, & Sexuality Studies. I graduated from high school at Sidwell Friends in 2015, where I was academically focused on math and physics. I also prepared for and took the ACT in my senior year. I'm ready to help students with any of these subjects, particularly ACT test prep, math, or writing, a favorite hobby of mine. I know what it's like to be eager about learning, but not have the natural ability to be a fast learner, and I'm ready to share the tips and tricks that I've gathered with other students who want to become better learners as well. In high school, I spent much of my time working with the arts through choruses, drama, and dance; I was also a member of multiple athletic teams and the co-head of the GLSBT+ Alliance. Needless to say, I needed to find a balance between work and play! In college, I continue to be involved with music as a member of The Duke's Men of Yale, a TTBB a cappella group (check us out on iTunes and Spotify!), where I served as Music Director last year. I also am a Communication and Consent Educator, working with various programs to promote a positive sexual climate on campus, and am currently an intern at the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), the nation's largest LGBTQ rights organization.
