I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a B.S. in Biology. I have always had a passion for math. An introductory Physics course in college sparked my interest allowing me to apply my math skills to the world around me. I am a qualified tutor in all maths up to Calculus.

After a couple years of exerience tutoring different math levels i found my favorite subjects to tutor have become Algebra and Pre-calculus (which weren't my favorite classes in highschool). I've helped students make progress in their grades and have worked to evaluate and identify targeted skills. I fully understand these subjects and always show a variety of ways to reach the answer. I can identify weaknesses and help build them using simple exercises and quizzes. I also have experience tutoring international college students in math and science. I have fallen in love with tutoring and using my skills in mathematics to help others succeed. I volunteer as much time as possible with the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History in Washington D.C. and have been trained to work with school programs to engage elementary through High School students in scientific studies and group activities.
