I graduated for the University of Missouri in 2012 with a BS in Biochemistry and minors in Chemistry and Psychology. During my junior and senior years at the university, I became a tutor in biochemistry, chemistry, biology and physics. I also helped students prepare for application to medical school by editing essays and providing advice. I joined The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine directly after undergraduate, and I am currently taking a research year between my third and fourth years.
I love science and enjoy teaching people about the things that I am passionate about. I have a strong background in biochemistry, but I feel comfortable with most sciences. Work hard, play hard is how I try to approach life, so when I am not busy with medical school I enjoy painting, exercising, meditating, and fishing.
