I am a recent graduate of University of Maryland. I received a bachelors of science in physics in 2013. After finishing my degree, I taught algebra at the 8th grade level in Baltimore City. Even though my degree is in physics I have loved every minute of teaching people about math. Math is simply the language we use to describe the world around us and oddly enough, using examples from the real world is one of the best ways to truly understand mathematical concepts. I like to make math 'real' for students because it's the best way for the idea to come to life.
