As an undergraduate student at UCLA, I double majored in Economics and Chinese and minored in Asian Humanities. During my junior year, my professors recommended that I consider joining the Departmental Scholar Program based on academic standing and involvement in extracurricular activities, allowing me to simultaneously pursue my undergraduate degrees and a Master’s degree in East Asian Studies, area of specialization: China.
In June 2012, I received my Master’s degree and dual majors in Economics and Chinese, while attaining a minor in Asian Humanities.
I have been tutoring mathematics, economics, and Chinese since high school. Most students come to me for Chinese lessons and help with standardized test preparation. I am also experienced in teaching algebra, geometry, and calculus.
I enjoy working out, reading, and playing with my golden retriever.
