About Me

I am a graduate of Oberlin College (BA), Case Western Reserve University (PhD-STEM and MS-Engineering), University of Illinois at Chicago (MPH- Epidemiology) and Clayton College of Natural Health (ND). I was a pre-medical student and received my Bachelor of Arts in Communication Theory with a focus on neurological speech disorders associated with brain injuries. Upon graduation, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to integrate my studies in communication theories and the sciences as an environmental scientist and engineer working for the power industry focused on understanding than designing engineering systems to minimize the impacts of environmental pollution on public health. I eventually received a graduate scholarship from the Society of Women's Engineers to complete my Master of Systems & Controlling Engineering degree from Case Western Reserve University.
