I'm born and raised in Munich, Germany and reside in Nashville, TN since 1999. I hold a masters degree in graphic design and a associate degree in offset printing. I started my professional music career in 1985 playing guitar, banjo, mandolin, dobro (resophonic guitar) and bass. Music is pure, it is real. It heals, it communicates and does a lot of incredible things.

I have six years of tutoring experience in all levels of mathematics, including college subjects. For the past two years, I have worked in high-need schools in the School District of Philadelphia as a full-time tutor and mentor through City Year. Beginning in July, I will be pursuing my Master's in Secondary Math Education at the University of Pennsylvania.
