I have over 12 years of experience in education ranging from being a classroom teacher to my current role as a reading specialist. With a Master's degree in Reading, I hold a teaching certificate as well as a reading endorsement. My passion is held in reading instruction with the focus of getting students to read at grade level by the time they are in third grade.
As an educator of over 12 years, I have taught various subjects and supported students of all levels, ages, and academic abilities. I strive to ensure each child gets the individualized support they need through data points as well as personal interactions with each student. It is my belief that if we can find those specific areas students need more support in, then they will not only grow in their learning abilities, but thrive as well.
