I'm a rising freshman at New York University's Stern School of Business, working toward my Bachelor of Science in Business, concentrating in Finance. I'm excited to tutor in elementary through AP-level math, physics, economics, and SAT/ACT. During my first tutoring session in 8th grade, I realized few things are more satisfying than seeing students cruise through concepts they previously struggled with. Since then, I've always enjoyed helping students with their academics in a variety of ways. As a peer and private tutor, I've tutored middle through high schoolers in math, physics, and chemistry. As a student instructor, I've co-led classes teaching skills and grammar for the AP Spanish Language exam, and led a physics review class. Lastly, as a teaching assistant, I've aided students during student hours for middle school physics. I also served under my AP and 8th grade economics teacher, evaluating student coursework and guiding students through lessons. Being exposed to such different styles of teaching has helped me develop an adaptable and engaging style for almost any student. My goal as a tutor is to ensure that any student can understand, grow in, and truly enjoy the subjects that they are learning.
