I've always had a deep passion for education and a commitment to helping students grow. As a teacher, my goal is to engage, challenge, and inspire every learner I work with. Originally from Augusta, GA, I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Armstrong State University and later completed my Master's in Education at Columbus State University.

I am a certified K5 educator with nine years of classroom experience, primarily in 2nd and 3rd grade. In addition to teaching, I've served as an afterschool tutor for 3rd and 4th graders, focusing on reading and math support. My teaching philosophy is student-centered I believe students learn best when they are active participants in their own education. I strive to create opportunities for discussion, exploration, and problem-solving in every session.

When tutoring, I begin by learning each student's interests and preferred learning styles, which allows me to tailor lessons to meet their unique needs. I often incorporate interactive tools and strategies, including games, hands-on manipulatives, and digital platforms like Pear Deck, Blooket, and Kahoot, to make learning both effective and engaging.
