I currently teach middle school Math for grades 5 - 8, while also having ample experience in teaching grades 9 - 12. The topics I currently teach include Math 5, Math 6, Pre-Algebra, Topics of Algebra, and Algebra I. I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from Washington College as well as a Master's of Science Degree in Recreation and Sports Sciences from Ohio University.

I focus on trying to make math more relatable for my students, as math can be extremely challenging at times. My goal is to help students break down problems and concepts into their most simplistic form to help them with their understanding of the material. Through using a variety of teaching strategies that include games and manipulatives, I strive towards helping students enjoy learning while also developing skills focused in problem solving and number sense.

Outside of the classroom I am a huge Baltimore Orioles and Ravens sports fan. I am also the head baseball coach for the school I work at while also serving as an assistant wrestling coach at the high school level. I look forward to working with you and to help you strive for success in math.
