As a tutor, my desire to help students is derived from a hope that more students will get involved and interested in STEM subjects. My experience working with students although brief was extremely informative, during which I had the pleasure of instructing students with a range of abilities as a reading mentor. Whether guiding students through challenging concepts, providing academic support, or igniting a passion for academia, I am committed to orienting my approach to meet the individual needs and abilities of each student. I received my education from Sir William Ramsay School, where I took my GSCE's and A-Levels. Currently, I am working toward a Masters in physics, with a specialty in Astrophysics. I tutor in mathematics and physics, drawing upon my strong academic background and passion for these subjects to support students in achieving their academic goals. While I am very capable in tutoring a wide range of topics within these fields, I particularly enjoy teaching topics like Astrophysics and fields, as they're very relevant to what I study at university. My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that every student has the potential to succeed with the right guidance and support. Coming from primary school to secondary school I had no interest in my studies, however with the right instruction and motivation I climbed to the top of my classes, and I hope to create that same environment I had where students feel empowered to ask questions, explore concepts, and make connections between theory and practice. My tutoring style is interactive and collaborative, emphasizing critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Beyond my studies, I am passionate about stargazing, video games and going to the gym. Whether pursuing my hobbies, or studying new areas that interest me, I believe in maintaining a balanced lifestyle that improves both my personal and professional life.
