I graduated from Newberry College with a BS in mathematics and a minor in secondary education. Upon graduating, I took a job teaching 8th grade math and Honors Algebra 1. I have taught these courses for 24 years! During those years, I also taught 7th grade math, College Algebra and PreCalculus at the local college. I have also taught online math courses at the middle, high, and college level. After being a teacher for 10 years, I received my National Boards Certification in middle school. I also have my Masters in Arts of Teaching from Grand Canyon University.

I love teaching math! My goal is to help students be more successful in math and learn to enjoy it!

I love being out in nature! I enjoy traveling to the beach, kayaking in our lake close by, and hiking trails. I love spending time with my animals. My husband and I have a hobby farm that consists of sheep, cows, donkeys, cats, and a border collie. I love spending time with friends and family!
