I am a graduate of Hunter College CUNY, Alliance University, and Liberty University. I hold a bachelor's degree in political science (U.S. Government), a master's degree in biblical studies and theology, and a Doctor of Ministry in Theology. My passion includes teaching History, English Literature, History, Biblical and Religious studies, and writing.

Over the past 10 -15 years, I have worked with children and adults of all ages on various topics such as English, Religious and Bible Studies, and writing. I am currently the Dean of Biblical Education at my church, where primary responsibilities include creating the church's biblical educational curriculum and lessons for the children, youths, and adults and teaching weekly Sunday School and Bible classes.

My tutoring experience includes volunteering for several years in an afterschool academic enrichment program consisting of weekly individual and group tutoring elementary school children ages 6 to 11. Additionally, I spent a few years tutoring middle and high school students who needed help with the reading and writing portions of standardized ACT and SAT exams. I also specialize in tutoring and preparing for high school level AP US and World History exams. I recently worked in coaching some of my peers struggling with writing to prepare acceptable Ph.D. and Dmin dissertations.

I have also offered tutorials for students on how to write formal letters and reports. My style includes oral and visual demonstrations that include "free writing" of ideas concerning the main topic, then adding organization and structuring of the essay or report. In addition, I provide efficient lessons and exercises as a confident building that has helped students further develop their writing skills and discover their hidden talents expressed in writing.

A critical factor in developing trusting and lasting relationships with students is promoting an environment of encouragement and confidence that enables them to grow. My ability to connect with students of all ages and levels has helped me tutor and teach others, ultimately yielding positive results
