I am an alumnus of Duquesne University and obtained my RN license in 2015. Upon graduation, I began working as a NICU RN and currently work on Labor and Delivery as a Newborn Transition Nurse. I enjoy precepting and often utilize my experiences as a bedside RN as learning opportunities when teaching others. I believe that basic knowledge is the key to understanding more complex concepts. My teaching philosophy utilizes various learning strategies to ensure a complete understanding. Outside of work, I am a mom to a 15-month-old little boy and enjoy spending time teaching him about the world, going on adventures outside, and cooking.
