As a science enthusiast, I have a MSc. in Applied Microbiology and Biotechnology, and a Bachelors degree with honours in Biochemistry. Though I enjoy scientific research with focus on diabetes, immunology, bacteria, genetics and bioinformatics, I have a great passion for teaching. I have a goal of contributing to training the next generation of scientists hence my interest in teaching science related subjects especially biology and chemistry. Having worked with various groups of students, I believe academic excellence requires great team effort of tutor and student. I employ a wide range of engaging activities including games which makes students love and understand the subject matter. In my spare time, I am committed to music playing the acoustic and often singing in choirs and also as a soloist.
