I am a graduate teacher from Sri Lanka. I received my bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science in 2013. Then I joined the Lyceum International School as a secondary school mathematics teacher. while continuing my career for over six years as a mathematics teacher I completed my master of science in Mathematics Education in the University of Colombo. I am most passionate about teaching Mathematics and the MSc program allowed me to learn the psychological aspects of students towards mathematics. In my experience, helping students to understand mathematics relationally, mastering concepts rather than methods will enhance their mathematical disposition and autonomy. I want all my students to see the beauty of mathematics and start loving the subject.
