Hello! I am currently in my 7th year of teaching. I have taught Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade. I have taught both general education as well as special education. I am passionate about helping students learn to read, understand what they are reading, and giving students confidence to work independently in all subjects.

In my free time I enjoy doing anything outdoors. I enjoy going to the beach, going on the boat, and going surfing in the summer, and in the winter I like going snowboarding. While I do love to be active, I do also like to curl up in front of the fireplace with a good book.
