I am currently a Ph.D. candidate specializing in computational modeling of plasma physics, and I have earned an M.A. in Physics and a B.S. in Physics with minors in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science. I was a College Physics lab instructor and learning assistant while working on my undergraduate studies, and I was lucky to be able to continue teaching and tutoring during my master's degree. I enjoy helping students make connections between the coursework and their daily lives, as well as finding out how to use their own intuition about the way physics works (and adjusting when intuition leads us astray -- I'm looking at you, non-inertial reference frames!).
