I graduated from The University of Texas - Rio Grande Valley with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and am currently pursuing my master's degree in Mathematics with a Teaching Concentration. During college, I mentored first-year students, helping them prepare for the TSI (Texas Success Initiative) Assessment, particularly the math portion. Supporting these students, making learning enjoyable, and watching them succeed was incredibly rewarding. Additionally, as a Research Assistant in the Mathematics department, I visited high schools to promote STEM careers and inspire students to see the real-world impact of math and science. After graduating, I spent two years as a high school Physics and Math teacher, further strengthening my passion for education. Teaching students of diverse backgrounds reinforced my belief that with the right guidance, anyone can develop confidence in their abilities. I firmly believe education is the key to a successful future, and everyone should have an appreciation for it. Learning isn't just about knowledgeit's about critical thinking, curiosity, and a lifelong love of discovery. My goal is to make math and science engaging, relevant, and accessible to all.
