I am a Neuroscience major at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I have been a tutor for almost 4 years now, and my favorite subject to teach, is chemistry. However, tutoring students for ACT/SAT has also been a very rewarding and enriching experience. I love tutoring because I am given the opportunity to help students achieve their best and inspire them on a personal and academic level. It excites me to see how energetic a learner becomes as soon as they understand a topic they struggled with. My philosophy of education is that all students are unique and must have a stimulating educational environment where they can grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. It is my desire to create this type of atmosphere where students can meet their full potential.
