I earned an MBA from Columbia University with a concentration in Management of Organizations. I received my Bachelor of Arts from Colgate University with honors in Spanish and Psychology. I have more than 35 years of experience in both the education and corporate sectors. I have developed and delivered curriculum in both professional and educational settings and taught Spanish in elementary, middle and high school at all levels (Conversation and Culture, Spanish 1 - 6 and AP Language and Culture). I have also tutored extensively both in person and on-line. I have travelled throughout the US, Europe and Latin America and led student groups to Peru, Spain, and Costa Rica and I studied in Granada Spain for a semester. I have consistent success in engaging students in class and love to share my passion for learning a second language as well as understanding and appreciating cultural diversity. I think it is important to understand student's individual needs and styles and to tailor instruction to leverage student strengths and interests.
