I am a third year electrical engineering student at Princeton University, with a focus in applied physics, and minors in German studies and history. I want to tutor because I am always excited about learning new things, and I want to share this with students of all ages. I find that this way, a student can do difficult work, excel, and feel both accomplished and happy. I have a broad range of specialties, from physics, to programming in Java and C, to German, to test prep and college applications help. I also love workshopping all kinds of writing, whether personal or academic. Some of my qualifications include physics research at a Max Planck Institute and acceptances to Harvard and UC Berkeley. I have experience teaching environmental science to children at a botanical garden and volunteering as a reading tutor for elementary schoolers behind grade level.

I'm New York City born and raised. I graduated from the University of Chicago last year with a degree in East Asian Languages and Civilizations. I am developing my own teaching methods to evolve traditional East Asian and French language acquisition, and to do this I need even more experience. My course of study has been directed at learning as much as I can about the culture, economy, and history of East Asia, China and Japan in particular. I view myself as someone who is entrepreneurial, collegial, individually motivated to produce high quality work, as well as foster a love of the subject which I teach. I am currently a student at the University of Aberdeen obtaining my master's in petroleum engineering. I graduated in May, 2020 magna cum laude from Northeastern University with my degree in mechanical engineering with a minor in economics. All of methods and study habits I teach my students are ones I have personally used and found to work, either in test prep or in math, science, and engineering courses. I am a UCLA Bioengineer. I am a well qualified tutor and have had many years of experience in both paid and unpaid roles from 6th grade to 12 grade to present. I have always excelled in academics, math, writing, and english and have scored well on all standardized tests and state tests. I have scored 800/800 in SAT 1 math, SAT 2 math. I have scored 760/800 in SAT writing. I received scores of 5/5 in AP Calculus AB and BC and have taken numerous other APs, passing the APs in Physics, Biology, Literature, Language and Composition, Environmental Science, Economics, US history, and Chemistry. I was the President of my high school's only tutoring club and only math club, Infinity Math Club, where I dedicated my time tutoring struggling students in all math levels. I was a tutor in my high school's RAMS program for all academic subjects. I love working with students and love to see them succeed in subjects that they once struggled in.

I'm a recent graduate with a BS in chemistry and currently a PhD student in materials science. While I've always been fascinated with math and chemistry, they didn't come easy for me. I've had great teachers and tutors who helped me build a solid foundation in the physical sciences and inspire me to pay that forward.

I am currently a Master's in Education Candidate at Northwestern University, and will begin teaching high school biology in Chicago this upcoming fall. I completed my undergraduate degree at Northwestern University in 2019, majoring in both Biological Sciences (concentrating in Genetics and Genomics) and in German. I have experience working with students of all ages, including elementary, middle, and high school. I am consistently energized by the opportunity to see students grow and develop! I have experience working with high school students helping them do homework in various subjects, but I would love to expand my experiences with tutoring and focus on teaching elementary and middle schoolers.
