I earned a double major from Indiana University in French and Mathematics then went on to complete my Masters in Education at Silver Lake College. I am newly-retired after teaching high school French for 34 years. One of the best parts of teaching is sharing my passion for the French language and culture with my students. Students tell me that my approach to learning is fun, energetic and accepting of mistakes. I enjoy everything about the learning process--from helping students develop new skills to finding ways to overcome the challenges along the way. To ensure success, it is important for me to help students discover what motivates them. To that end, I believe there is always some way to tie the subject matter into something the learner cares about.
In my free time I love being active: yoga, biking, kayaking, hiking, camping and skiing. I also love to watch sports, read and cook.
