I have an extreme passion for helping students. For many years, I have served as a youth pastor and young adult leader. These positions have allowed me to understand teenagers, young adults, and even children and how they think and where they are at developmentally at various ages. I received a B.A. in Religion & Philsophy and a B.S. in Christian Education from Sterling College and a Masters of Divinity from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Most recently, I have been working on completing a Masters of Theology with an emphasis in Pedagogy from Midwestern as well. Between the liberal arts education, the wide spectrum of topics in my masters degrees, work with my own children, and experience in youth and young adult ministries, I feel prepared to cover a wide variety of subjects and topics. My particular strengths lie in world religion, history, and writing. Perhaps my favorite subject to tutor is writing. I like to help students improve their writing and find their own voice. When I'm not working with students or earning my own degrees, I like to play board games and my many musical instruments.
