About Me

I have a BS in mathematics and a minor in physics from the University of Florida. I offer tutoring in these areas, as well as standardized tests like the SAT and ACT. I earned an IB diploma and offer tutoring for IB subjects as well. I often led study sessions and tutoring sessions as the officer of Outreach for the Society of Physics Students at UF. My main motivation for tutoring is simply that I love physics and math, and find them immensely beautiful. I want to share that love and illustrate concepts visually and intuitively rather than through mechanical computation. There's a quote I can't track down along the lines of "Do not attempt a proof until it is almost obvious" which guides my teaching philosophy. Outside of tutoring, I play classical piano, have worked in book conservation, and enjoy reading sci-fi and fantasy.
