I recently finished a Fulbright Fellowship in Romania where I designed 5 college courses and taught more than 500 students. As a professor and researcher, I connected individually with students at various stages in their lives and was fortunate to develop valuable insights about diversity and cohesion.
My experience ranges from being an English, foreign language, and social studies tutor while in university, to my time as a substitute teacher and private mentor to high school students getting ready for college. While I was a Naval Officer deployed to Japan, I conducted countless trainings and briefs for small and large groups alike. This gave me early comfort in a pedagogical role. The contributions I offer delve deep into effective problem solving, critical thinking, and initiative that can propel your outcomes beyond expectations and standards of success.
Pursuing a profession as an educator has always been my dream. I am eager to use this opportunity as the perfect foundation for my future experiences, especially as I am now completing a sociocultural anthropology masters in Switzerland. Expanding my tutoring to students beyond those of the university level is the perfect way to start putting my skills into practice.
I am most excited to share the skills and tricks I have learned along the way that have made me successful. Academia is my passion and I want to make it an enjoyable adventure for you as well!
