I graduated from Rutgers University in 2009 with a B.S. in Business Economics and a 3.2 GPA. I possess an elementary and middle school math teaching certification from the state of New Jersey (in process of transferring it to Texas). I grew up in northern New Jersey and after college, I taught middle school math (pre-algebra, algebra, basic arithmetic, geometry, etc) for three years in an urban school district. During that time, I differentiated my lesson plans and instructional methods in order to meet the needs of low, middle, and advanced performing students. My teaching experience also includes tutoring elementary, middle, high school, and college students in basic arithmetic, pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, calculus, algebra 2, finance, and economics.
My greatest strengths include time management skills, math enrichment, teaching and tutoring students of all ages, being able to express empathy and understanding to students and parents, excellent organizational and communication skills, being a stellar role model, and the belief that every individual will succeed.
