I just graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in Applied Mathematics Engineering, and I am very passionate about teaching students why math is important and how to understand it better!
I tutored calculus and algebra for two years in high school, and I tutored first-year engineering students at Northwestern in basic engineering courses (mostly calculus, trigonometry, algebra, physics).
My favorite subject to tutor is algebra because it forms the basis for the rest of mathematics and it can be appleid to everyday problem solving.
Outside of academia, I play a lot of volleyball and ultimate frisbee! I coach volleyball in the Chicago area and like to stay as active as I can.
