I am a high achieving student who is ready to help your child succeed in school and life. As part of the Princeton class of 2021, I have always been a motivated and over-achieving worker.
In doing so, I have taken the hardest classes offered at my high school, Clayton High School, including AP Chemistry, AP Biology, AP Physics I, AP Physics II, AP Lit, AP Economics Macro/Micro, and AP US History. In all of these classes, I received not only A's but also a 5 in their AP tests.
In respect to standardized testing, I have also gone above and beyond. In my PSAT, I got a perfect score in the math section, totaling to a 1490/1520, which also allowed me to be a National Merit Finalist. In the ACT, I got a perfect 36, which put me as a Presidential Scholar Candidate.
I have also received a plethora of other academic awards including: TEAMS best of state, the Frank T. Armstrong Memorial Award, the Dartmouth Alumni Book Award, and the Top Scholar Athlete Award from the St. Louis Post Dispatch.
On top of my academic achievements, my experience as a tutor sets me apart. I have been tutoring since Sophomore year of high school, starting with elementary and middle school kids. I believe my age is an advantage for me, for my students feels a greater connection and understanding with me than with someone of a much greater age difference. Moreover, I have more recently taken the classes that they are currently struggling with, which allows me to give the most helpful insight and tricks to the material.
With my standardized testing services, I also provide college application mentoring. This includes providing insight into what top colleges are looking for from test scores, extracurriculars, and the application essays. Together we will build a plan to optimize your child's chances of success in the often confusing college application process.
I enjoy tutoring others because I love seeing someone grow intellectually before my eyes, as I open a whole new world in front of them.
