I have my Master of Education Degree in Literacy from The College of New Jersey this year. I received my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education/English from The College of New Jersey. Since graduation, I have been an elementary teacher, specializing in the area of Literacy. As a teacher, I have been focusing on providing small group instruction to students with reading difficulties and English Language Learners so that their individual needs are met in the classroom. In my experience helping struggling students, it is important to differentiate instruction and tend their different learning styles. I am a firm proponent of reading, believing it to be absolutely necessary to help students continue to grow and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and writing poetry.
