I am currently an undergrad at the University of Illinois at Chicago pursuing a degree in Criminology, Law and Justice. I am also on a pre-health track planning to attend Physician's Assistant school when I graduate from UIC. My topics for tutoring include English, writing, reading, essay writing, public speaking, law and criminal law, emergency medicine and Spanish levels 1 and 2. I have experience working with high school and college level students to improve not only their writing skills but their grades! Some of my passions include emergency medicine and criminal law. If you have an interest in either of these topics or have a course in one of them then I am the tutor for you! From working with the Sheriff's Department as an undercover special agent and studying criminology and law in college to working as an emergency medical technician for one of the largest event medical companies in the midwest, I can guarantee new insight and knowledge on these topics. As far as my teaching strategy, I have always enjoyed helping others understand material in new ways. I pride myself on being able to show students alternative ways to look at problems and come up with solutions. I have always been a visual learner, which was challenging in some courses where visuals were not commonly used. I love using my creative arts skills to bring visuals to these courses and help others understand them in a new way.
