Hello! Thank you for visiting my profile. My name is Hannah Baker and I am currently a student at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. I am studying comparative literature and Spanish, and hopefully I will become a teacher one day. Both of my parents are teachers, so I have been around students of all ages my whole life, and I love to help others succeed academically. From my sophomore year of high school onward, I was a tutor with the National Honors Society. I tutored students from middle school through high school with this program. For my junior and senior years of high school, I was an elementary school aide in kindergarten, first grade, second grade, and third grade. During college, I assisted other students in my English classes with their essay edits and held one-on-one tutoring sessions to help explain concepts of the literature we were reading. I am comfortable tutoring most levels of English, writing, and reading. I am also capable of tutoring Spanish in varying levels of difficulty, and I have studied abroad in Costa Rica for about 6 months. During this time, I lived with a family with three young children, and I assisted them with their classes and homework in English. I hope to provide my services to students and help them excel academically and gain more confidence in themselves. Thank you once again!
