I am a second grade teacher. I have a master's degree from Northern Illinois University in literacy education with a focus on reading. For my undergraduate education, I studied at Knox College with a degree in elementary education and English literature. I have an additional teaching license for middle school English. In addition to teaching second grade, I have had multiple other experiences working with children of all ages. I have tutored students in a variety of different subjects but mostly math and English. Outside of tutoring I enjoy golfing, figure skating, and spending time with my family and friends.
