Hello! I am currently a first year at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine. I graduated from Baylor University in 2019 with a bachelors of science in biology and have gotten my Masters in Biomedical Sciences from Bluefield College. I have great experience in teaching children in that I have worked at Kumon, a math and reading tutoring center, for over a year and have learned how to teach children of all ages from 2-18. I helped them understand simple concepts such as counting to complex ones such as calculus. I have been taught on how to master speed as well as accuracy. I have also helped teach science to high schoolers at a STEM Camp in high school, where I designed experiments and explained the concepts around each one. Some of the concepts included geology, astronomy, electricity, biology, etc.
My background is predominantly in Math and Science due to the nature of my major but I have a strong handle on Reading and Writing. I have gotten A's on all my English Courses at Baylor and have written several essays and research papers. I have a love for reading whether it is articles or books and have read an extensive amount. I even wrote articles for a website as a staff writer for a short period of time.
I have a passion for teaching and I strongly believe that any student has the ability to learn. No matter the subject, I am willing to help the student to accomplish their goals and strive towards victory. I am flexible with timings and any learning needs so please contact me for more information!
