I graduated with an Associate Degree from Palm Beach State College in South Florida, and I am currently a senior studying mechanical engineering and minoring in education at Columbia University in New York. My passion for teaching began in high school when I started tutoring at a local homeschool co-op. I began as a teaching assistant in the school's preschool, and worked my way up each year. I later taught Spanish, math, and robotics to elementary and middle school students, and tutored high school students in math and science courses.
Eventually, I assumed the role of administrator of the high school program. My tasks in this position included devising an individualized curriculum for each student in order to ensure on-time graduation, teaching math and science courses to students with a wide variety of educational backgrounds, and mentoring students to encourage the pursuit of higher education.
