I have over 20 years' teaching experience on all levels of education. Before pursuing my doctorate in Social Sciences (Sociology and Anthropology interdisciplinary) at University of California, Irvine, I was a Substitute Teacher with Los Angeles Unified School District. In this position, I taught kindergarten through fifth grade, and held several long term posts. While enrolled as a doctoral student, I taught various courses at different universities in Southern California, and was a Substitute Teacher with Los Angeles Unified School District (6th through 12th grade). Since residing in New York State, I have primarily taught test preparation courses, but I am qualified to teach Social Science courses as I have a PhD in Social Sciences, M.A. in Behavioral Science, and B.A. in Political Science. I also have 15 years' experience teaching math courses--Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra II/Trigonometry.
