I wear several hats: I’m a Mother of two, an educator and small biz owner, an amateur photographer, NY/SF based lifestyle/peace advocate, motivational speaker, and social media enthusiast. I love a good laugh, encouraging people, good food and an occasional jaunt to somewhere around the world.

What is your teaching philosophy?
When I encourage students to explore the world around them and challenge them to bring new information to our sessions together, it helps them become more confident and triggers a desire to rise and meet the challenge. Over time, that effort translates into more independent approaches to learning.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
I would introduce some icebreakers to help me get to know the student and their needs, as well as ask questions about what they love to do and what makes them laugh. Listening and humor are great learning skills.
