Hi there! I look forward to teaching you some science and French. I am from a little island off the coast of Madagascar called Mauritius.

I came to college here the University of Pennsylvania where I studied Bioengineering and Economics with a Mathematics Minor. Thereafter, I was worked in neuroimaging at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia before attending Cornell for my Masters in Biomedical Engineering.

I now live in NYC after helping to create a biomedical analytics company here and I planning to enter a PhD program next.

My teaching experience spans 5 years of tutoring Mathematics in high school West Philadelphia as well as at Penn. I try to be as granular as possible with explanations and believe in hands on teaching with tons of activities and exercises on site. If you don't understand something, chances are that you faced convoluted explanations that left you more confused! Don't worry, I always insist on understanding all the steps.

Q & A

What is your teaching philosophy?

Step-by-Step. Hands on Teaching!

What might you do in a typical first session with a student?

Get to learn where the student is in terms of knowledge and acquired skills. Go through some examples to gauge initial speed of approach. Establish a timeline with a lesson plan over the next session so as to see where the ship is heading
