Whether it is substituting, tutoring, or teaching I am always up for the challenge. I taught two years of high school mathematics in Massachusetts at St. Mary’s High School in Lynn, MA. I had a pleasurable time with many of my classes and really connected with some of my students. Furthermore, throughout high school and college I have helped a number of students understand many areas in mathematics. Whether it was algebra or geometry I was able to help students succeed in math courses. Sometimes teachers may only present an idea in one way, so it is hard for some students to learn the material in that particular way. However there is usually always more than one way to solve a math problem. I always attempt to show two or more ways when it comes to solving complex questions. My goal is to help students succeed. I want to get them thinking positively, so they can do well in a math course, and eventually achieve a great score in mathematics on standardized tests. Overall I believe that I could really help students understand many areas of high school mathematics.
