I have worked with elementary and middle school students for the last 5 years as an academic coach. I've tutored various subject and provided general homework help as well. I keep students fully engaged in the learning process by asking questions, having students explain in their own words, and incorporating games or fun activities as appropriate. I also make an effort to relate the subject at hand to students' lives so they can easily see the importance of learning the concepts.
