I graduated from University of California Davis with major in Applied Mathematics and a minor in Evolution, Ecology, and Biodiversity (EEB). I have prepared elementary & high school students for the American Regional Math League (ARML) and Math Olympiad competition. I am very familiar with helping high school students study for the SAT, new SAT, SATII Math, ACT, and Calculus AB/BC. I also tutored undergraduates in Linear Algebra, ODEs, and Numerical Analysis when I was at UCD.

My Ecology knowledge is a lot deeper than general Biology, but I am currently studying for the GRE Biology subject test. My Biology understanding and ability to teach it gets better everyday. That said, I would be happy to help any student get organized and tackle a subject he or she is struggling with. I strongly believe in all students' ability to learn and building confidence is the first step to success. I appreciate hard work and the desire to learn rather than memorize for a grade. Helping others see the beauty and happiness in Mathematics is my favorite thing about teaching it.

I love energetic people and pets of all ages and sizes. I was Treasurer then President of Math Club at UCD and loved our weekly meals, board games, and lectures. Some of my hobbies include origami, puzzles, playing “mathy” board games and kickboxing.
