I am a student of Architecture completing my Bachelor's degree at Virginia Tech. For as long as I can remember I have loved helping younger students master subjects I enjoy. One of my greatest pleasures is helping find that special something in the topic at hand that ignites a passion in the student's eyes, where they gain a connection with the material that will nourish their study for years to come. Teaching math and music have always been strong points for me, but language is my greatest focus. Having self-taught Spanish in high school, I'm bilingual and have had the privilege of volunteering on multiple occasions as a translator for groups traveling to Latin America. When it comes to the SATs, a lot of students become incredibly overwhelmed, but from my experience, with some help and effective practice, anyone can navigate them successfully, and to the best of their ability. Whenever I'm free and the weather's good, all I need is a rugged trail or a soccer ball and some competition to challenge me. However, when Pittsburgh is its dreary, rainy self, you can find me in front of a good book or blank canvas accompanied by a warm cup of tea.
