I currently hold a master's degree from Marylhurst University in Leadership and Organizational Communications. My bachelor's degree is from Portland State University in English Literature and Women's Studies. I have been writing, and helping others with their writing, since I was about 10 years old.

As an international bestselling author and author coach, I work with clients from all over the world including, England, Australia, Jamaica, Belgium, Canada, and of course, the United States. As a college instructor, I work both online and face-to-face with students to help them succeed. I have a group of high school students that I mentor, along with adult students and clients in every age group and at every skill level.

Currently, I teach and mentor others in leadership, nonfiction and academic writing, and goal achievement. My favorite part is not necessarily the subject, but seeing someone's eyes light up when they "get" it, and watching their confidence in themselves and their abilities grow through the process.

Whenever I work with someone, my underlying belief is that they are absolutely capable. Each person shows up at a different place in their learning, but all are capable when given the right tools to work with. I see my role as providing the tools they need, and teaching them how to use those tools, so that ultimately they stop needing me.
