I graduated from Brooklyn College with a BA in Political Science and Social Studies Education and a concentration in History. While I was in college, I enjoyed working with students volunteering in a local High School as assistant teacher and tutor. I also obtained most of my experience while student teaching in two different High Schools in Manhattan. I have also contributed with some community leaders in the Bronx that work with the youth to finish High School and go onto college. Although I tutor a variety of subjects, I am most passionate about Spanish, ELL and Social Studies. As of now, I am pursuing the Social Studies teacher certification, which will hopefully help me to obtain my MA. I have a wide variety of hobbies which include writing, baseball, football (soccer), snowboarding, swimming, weightlifting, among others.
