After graduating Montclair State University (NJ) with a B.A. in Education and double minor in Spanish and Psychology, I began my professional career in the education field. After two years as a preschool teacher, I was hired as an elementary and middle school teacher. After three years of teaching 4th through 6th grade Spanish and Social Studies, I am now teaching Level 1 and 2 Spanish at the high school level. Having slowly shifted from preschool to elementary/middle school to high school has granted me the opportunity of learning how to assist students of various ages, levels, learning styles and subjects. I am currently in the process of attaining my certificate in TESOL which I will have completed by January. Growing up in a multicultural household, languages and culture have become a passion for me. Learning and helping other learn to love languages, history and cultural diversity has become a big part of my life. Aside from learning languages and history, I am also interested in food. Cooking, baking and experimenting different cuisines to be exact. Music (dancing and singing), hiking and spending time with family are other hobbies I enjoy on my spare time as well.
