I graduated from University of Houston with a B.S. in Psychology in the year 2002. I also acquired a M.Ed. degree in Education from Lamar University in the year 2011. I have been practicing pedagogy for 14 years. I really enjoy the art of facilitating learning. I think that helping scholars succeed is vital. I like the one to one student-teacher ratio private tutoring will afford. My personal mission is to eradicate the math phobia that is present in some students. I execute my mission via making learning math fun and pertinent to my students' lives. Making the abstract concepts in the subject of mathematics concrete is important in the facilitation process. I also implement strong reading strategies to increase literacy. I enjoy playing chess and basketball during my free time. I will exercise the due diligence needed for any of my students to evolve their mathematical skill-set.
