I achieved my Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education at the American University in Washington, D.C. I am currently gearing up for Graduate School to obtain my Masters Degree. I have worked in various classroom settings and have spent time tutoring as well. I love fostering strong relationships with the students I work with and watching them succeed. My teaching philosophy and style is based on confidence. If my student is confident in themselves, then they will be able to do their best work. I believe that all my students are deserving of a great education. I enjoy tutoring students in Reading and Writing best because I love books; I am always reading in my spare time. I am a very organized person and this shows in my ability to tutor my students in study skills. I am all about flashcards, color coding, and many other fun methods to prepare for an upcoming test or assignment. When I am not teaching, I am dancing. I have been dancing since I was a young girl. I grew up competing in many styles of dance and even got the chance to perform in Disneyworld! Dance is such a large passion of mine that I minored in it in college. I also enjoy spending time with my friends as I am an extroverted person and I enjoy traveling and trying new things!
