I recently graduated from Allegheny College in Meadville, PA, where I majored in international studies and French. In college, I loved studying foreign cultures, politics, and economics, and was fortunate enough to spend one semester each in France and Ecuador. I began working as a tutor and teaching assistant at Allegheny, and spent the 2011-12 school year teaching English in a French public high school.
Due to my studies and experiences, my best subjects are Spanish, French, government, and economics. I love to discuss and help students understand these subjects. As a student of these subjects myself, I can help others understand the challenges and difficulties they face, and help them create step-by-step solutions to these problems. I believe that with a little bit of patience and will, all students can build the skills they need to succeed in foreign language and the social sciences.
